2012
Will the world really end on DECEMBER
21ST, 2012? According to the Mayan Calender and Nostradamus
predictions, it will!? The band 2012 believes that if
the world is going to end, then the people on this planet
will be the cause. The message of the band's music is
basically, if you want to make the world a better place,
then take a look at yourself, and make a change. Oh wait
a second, that was Mike Jackson. Anyway, look at what
the world is coming to, and the skewed perceptions of
each new generation. When you really look at the way people
think and act, doomsday might actually already be here.
2012 has a purpose besides just playing music. They want
to inspire and show the difference between right and wrong
by recording memorable records and by putting on the MOST
ENERGETIC rockin' show anyone will ever witness.

creating the lounged out sounds pleasurable to any ear.

UPTOWN THE STUNTMAN
In the summer of 1993, Sam Upton a.k.a.
Uptown The Stuntman began writing and recording hip-hop
and was soon using his music as a release from the daily
stress of growing up without a father, drug abuse within
his family, and everyday problems teenager’s face
around the world. Also a semi-pro skater, Uptown sustained
a career ending shoulder injury and decided to pursue
hip-hop full time. Uptowns skills as an emcee continued
to grow over the years as he started performing at dozens
of venues as a solo artist and as a part of the group
Trackstarrs. Originally from Vallejo, CA, Uptown created
a buzz around the Bay Area through four underground releases
and numerous live shows in the late 1990s that eventually
caught the ear of gold record producer Johnny Z of Rated

ScapeGoat Wax
It was 1992, and Johnny Z was having commercial success
with the group N2DEEP, when a youngster named Marty Garton
called the Rated Z Recordz studio in Vallejo, CA. He was
an inspiring rapper who wanted a chance at recording some
of his music at Rated Z. After numerous calls, Johnny told
him, “let’s give it a try.” They began
working on music which was a little different than N2DEEP.
It had more of an East Coast Hip Hop sound, with a little
Los Angeles feel to it. They tracked a few demos, and then
Johnny sent him home with his SP1200 to learn make beats.
The next time these two got together, the
magic began and so did the scrubbed out demos. The original
group was called, The Dirty Rats, with Marty going by the
name, Snipa . The beats kept coming, some programmed by
Johnny and some by Marty. More...
